Roger Ver named headline speaker in St Petersburg for popular crypto gathering

Bitcoin pioneer Roger Ver is to deliver an exclusive report at the Blockchain Life forum in St Petersburg on 7th and 8th November.

It’s anticipated the founder of Bitcoin.com and blockchain.info – often labelled ‘The Bitcoin Jesus’, much to his chagrin – is expected to deliver a speech about his thoughts on the future of Bitcoin and the hard fork Bitcoin Cash. Together with Calvin Ayre, Ver is one of the world’s most prominent Bitcoin Cash evangelists.

Since 2011, Ver has also invested more than a million dollars in new start-ups related to cryptocurrencies, including Ripple, Bitpay and Kraken. Ver’s Memorydealers company was one of the world’s first to accept Bitcoin as payment.

The November event in St Petersburg will be the last Blockchain Life date to be staged in Russia. After November the forum moves on to new venues in another country.

The Russian swansong, however, will bring together owners and representatives of the world’s leading companies in the industry and government structures on one platform. More than 5,000 participants are expected.
