Coinbase vieta di nuovo il sito web controverso Gab.com. Per la seconda volta negli ultimi 12 mesi, lo scambio crittografico Coinbase ha vietato il social network conservativo Gab.com. Ha chiuso il conto commerciante dell'impresa insieme al conto personale del fondatore e CEO, Andrew Torba.
Coinbase si unisce a una lunga lista di aziende, tra cui Medium, PayPal, GoDaddy e Stripe, che si sono allontanate dal sito.
Gab.com è venuto sotto il fuoco per essere la piattaforma di social media favorita dagli estreme-destra e dai neo-nazisti. Ha guadagnato l'attenzione dei media, dopo che è emerso che Robert Bowers, il sospettato di sparatoria della sinagoga di Pittsburgh, era un utente.
