Le système de transport argentin permet des recharges Sube/Bitcoin. Bitcoin a franchi un grand pas vers le succès dominant en Argentine avec les utilisateurs des transports publics dans 37 villes maintenant en mesure d'ajouter des soldes de crédit à leurs cartes de voyage SUBE avec la crypto-monnaie.
C'est le résultat d'une collaboration entre le fournisseur de cartes de voyage Alto Viaje et le cabinet FinTech Bitex. Manuel Beaudroit, directeur général de Bitex, commente : « Nous croyons que ce type de projet est d'une grande importance puisqu'il apporte la technologie aussi perturbatrice que le Bitcoin aux gens ordinaires, démontrant la véritable valeur et les applications qu'il a dans la vie quotidienne. »
