Oracle verklagt CryptoOracle für „Handel mit seinem Ruf“. IT-Riese Oracle verklagt Blockchain-Startup CryptoOracle über seinen Namen.
CRN berichtet, dass es eine Klage gegen das Unternehmen und Louis Kerner, dessen Eigentümer und geschäftsführender Partner eingereicht hat, die Markenverletzung und Cybersquatting im Northern District of California geltend gemacht hat.
Die Beschwerde besagt, dass das in New York ansässige Unternehmen absichtlich den Markennamen CryptoOracle gewählt hat, „um Oracle als Innovator und Marktführer in der Technologiebranche zu handeln und unter den Verbrauchern den guten Willen zu wecken, den Oracle in seiner eigenen berühmten Marke gebaut hat“.
Weder Oracle noch CryptoOracle haben auf eine Anfrage um Kommentar geantwortet.
