Facebook macht einen weiteren Schlüssel-Blockchain-Termin

Evan Cheng hat die Rolle des Director of Engineering, Blockchain bei Facebook übernommen.

Er war vorher Director Engineering, Programmiersprachen und Laufzeiten beim Social-Media-Riesen und seine neue Position folgt eng von Kevin Weil Werde VP of Product, Blockchain.

Im Mai berichtet Coin Rivet, dass David Marcus, Leiter des Facebook-Messenger-Angebots, stellte eine neue Blockchain-Abteilung vor . In einem Facebook-Beitrag sagte Marcus: „Nach fast vier unglaublich lohnenden Jahren führenden Messenger habe ich beschlossen, dass es Zeit für mich war, eine neue Herausforderung anzunehmen. Ich richte eine kleine Gruppe ein, um zu erforschen, wie man Blockchain auf Facebook am besten nutzen kann, und zwar von Grund auf neu.“
