Douglas County schaut auf Blockchain-Boom

Douglas County scheint Blockchain-Boom zu erschließen. Washingtons Douglas County will einen Blockchain-Innovationscampus auf einer ungenutzten Siliziumanlage bauen, berichtet The Seattle Times.
Der einfache Zugang zu billigen Wasserkraft löste 2017 einen Kryptowährungsboom aus, obwohl 2018 ein Zusammenbruch folgte. Aber es gibt mehr zu der Geschichte als Boom und Büste, argumentiert Lisa Parks, Executive Director des Port of Douglas County.
„Wir haben einige einzigartige Vermögenswerte, die unsere Region für diese Branche attraktiv machen“, fügt sie hinzu. „Lasst uns herausfinden, wie wir davon profitieren können.“
