Binance Labs has revealed a list of 13 new start-ups that will take part in its incubation program, according to a press release shared with Coin Rivet.
The incubation program was launched last year and focuses on investing in and assisting start-ups in the initial years of operation.
“For the Binance Labs Incubation Program, we search all over the world for the strongest founders and projects to invest in,” said Ella Zhang, Head of Binance Labs.
“We are proud to have found 13 gems in Season II, and to have spent the past 10 weeks working with the BUIDLers to launch their demos and gain early traction.”
Among the 13 start-ups are BaseZero, a security project catered to crypto institutions; Bit Sika, which facilitates donations through crypto; and NFT company Mavrik.
Also covered is a cash-to-crypto gateway powered by Yellow Card, an anti-phishing solution for crypto companies, and a “Layer-0 scaling solution” for public blockchains.
“From in-app monetisation to cash-to-crypto kiosks in Africa, this batch of projects represents the diversity in blockchain and entrepreneurship globally,” said Zhang.
“We are excited to see first-hand the progress being made in every corner of the world to push blockchain forward.”
Aside from Binance Labs, Binance Launchpad has helped facilitate fundraising for a number of crypto firms in 2019. Coin Rivet recently interviewed Fetch.AI, which was the second token to go through Binance’s IEO launchpad.
